-1755, the British government orders the expulsion of 20,000 Arcadian (French) from their Canadian colonies, over half died on ships heading to Louisiana, France of inland Canada.

-1868, Wyoming enters the United States.

1943, Benito Mussolini is ousted from power in Italy, Germans quickly start governing the north of the country.
