Freedom for Turkey

 Today we celebrate the 89th anniversary of the formation of the modern Turkish state, when the Ottoman empire was defeated in world war I, the allies divided its territory, the empire was abolished in a popular revolution in the Turkish region of the empire (the only independent part). the Turkish republic was founded and in 1923 in Switzerland the treaty of Lausanne was signed giving all Turkish majority regions to this state.
